The Department of Treasury (Treasury) may occasionally have paid and unpaid vacancies that arise across our business at various classification levels that require filling on a short term basis.The types of vacancies that may arise include:
  • Short Term Contracts – fixed term employment for defined projects, less than 6 months (paid)
  • Graduate Placements – 18 month Graduate program (paid)
  • Vacation Employment – short term of 4 to 8 weeks during semester break (paid)
  • Post Graduate Work Placements – for specific projects associated with a relevant degree (unpaid)
  • Work Experience – paid or unpaid
We are looking for people who are self-starters, are solution focussed and who can align with Treasury’s values ofinnovative thinking, committed people and working collaboratively.

We expect our employees to be able to demonstrate the requirements of Treasury’s capability framework which consists of:

This register will be used to identify suitable applicants for short term vacancies that may arise within the Treasury business in the next 12 months. If you wish to remain on the register after the 12 month period elapses, you will need to re-apply.
