About the Roles

Iluka’s 12 week summer vacation program is designed for students in their penultimate year of study to put into practice the theory they have learned throughout their degree. During the 12 week program, you will be exposed to a wide variety of duties plus the opportunity to work on real projects in a fast paced operating environment that will enable you to develop your existing knowledge and skills.

Expressions of interest are open for Iluka’s Vacation Student Program across the following disciplines:

•Accounting;

•Chemistry;

•Commerce;

•Chemical Engineering;

•Electrical Engineering;

•Geology;

•Human Resources;

•Information Technology;

•Mechanical Engineering;

•Medical/Health Physics;

•Metallurgy;

•Mining Engineering;

•Surveying; and

•Process Engineering.

About You

Qualifications and competencies required:

•Eligibility to work in Australia;

•Currently completing 3rd or 4th year of tertiary study;

•A current and valid Australian Driver’s License;

•Excellent communication skills; and

•Excellent listening and analytical skills.
