A great new opportunity has opened for undergraduate engineering and IT students.

Honeywell is a major global solutions company focusing on improving quality of life for people around the globe by producing clean energy, raising efficiency, and designing technologies that allow people to connect and collaborate.

Honeywell is now offering four scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students studying engineering worth $2,500 each to put towards study and living expenses. Internships are a great way to get on the ground experience in your field and introduce yourself to career opportunities, and Honeywell internships often lead to the offer of a graduate position at the end of your studies.

“I began work as a Project Administrative Assistant at Honeywell last year after being given the opportunity to apply for the role through Honeywell’s Indigenous partnership with my school. No day is the same when I come into work; but there’s a fantastic team to lean on for support when tacking those obstacles. As a piece of advice, asking for a little guidance can go a long way. And if you’re interested in applying for a Honeywell internship, definitely show that you’re a team player!” - Eli Clarke, Honeywell InternIn previous years, interns and graduates have had the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects such as The Sydney Opera House, Fiona Stanley Hospital, the Ravenhall Prison build, Queensland Cultural Centre, RMIT, and many more exciting projects around Australia and the world!
